Bio
Kerri Marden’s journey in the legal field began at age 14, when she started working at a Boston law firm answering phones after school and during summers. What began as a simple introduction to the world of law ignited a passion in Kerri that has driven her career. Kerri seized opportunities to expand her role, knowledge and expertise and after a few years was heavily involved with substantive legal work. Kerri transitioned into the role of Paralegal and immersed herself into the intricacies of legal research, case law, and most importantly working with clients. She became adept at case management. Kerri was and continues to be an invaluable asset to the legal teams she works with.
After 20 years of legal experience, recognizing her expertise and commitment to the law, Kerri was asked to serve as the National Managing Trial Paralegal of Trial Lawyers for Justice. Kerri manages the trial calendar and works with attorney teams getting cases ready for trial. Her responsibilities include organizing evidence, preparing exhibits, coordinating witnesses, and ensuring that all aspects of trial run as smooth as possible. Her role in the courtroom has helped lead to hundreds of millions of dollars in jury verdicts and much more than that in settlements for deserving clients.
Kerri conducts client interviews, investigates, gathers facts, creates timelines, helps develop and manage demonstrative exhibits, and is heavily involved with the sequencing of evidence and witnesses. Additionally, Kerri provides guidance to the trial lawyers she works with as they prepare for and takes cases through trial.
Kerri works with the firm’s COO/National Managing Partner in the management of firm operations and development of policies and procedures as well as managing and planning to achieve strategic growth.
Throughout her career, Kerri has been committed to high standards of excellence and the core values of honesty, compassion, and integrity.
